History of Poole
If you find the history of Poole fascinating or perhaps if your family goes back generations in the town, you may be interested in a new web site set up by Poole Museum, Andrew Hawkes and others.
For our own part, we found advertisements placed by Henry Tapper in a local directory over 100 years ago, when he traded from his home address in Parkstone. Not even a chapel of rest in those days!
