At Harbour View, we hope we have found a reasonable balance between families commemorating the deceased and the need to retain the beauty of the natural landscape. You will not find any large headstones or polished granites at Harbour View and we retain control over what is placed on graves and in the surrounding area. Memorial stones are used to mark graves and these are engraved with the deceased’s name and some words to commemorate them; there is a choice of memorial stones and you will find these in one of the pdfs.
Other ways to remember your loved one
You will also find pdfs of alternative types of memorial such as trees and shrubs, benches and plaques and even bird tables and nesting boxes. These can be a soft addition to the landscape and a way of remembering a loved one that perfectly complements the surroundings.
